It has been pointed out to me that the subtitles on the videos are not good ?. I do not generate these and think they are made by automatic voice recognition and does not do a good job. I cannot switch these off when I upload videos, so I think the only option of they annoy you is to use the button in the lower right corner of the video to switch them off.
